F3T Fly Fishing Film Tour – Coming to Daytona!
For years, MidCoast Fly Fishers has talked about bringing the Fly Fishing Film Tour (F3T) back to our area, and we’re excited to finally make it happen! Celebrating its 20th anniversary, F3T is the world’s premier fly-fishing film tour, showcasing incredible stories and cinematography from fisheries around the globe.
This year’s event will be held at Cinematique of Daytona, a comfortable 67-seat boutique theater on Beach Street. Even more exciting, the 2026 F3T lineup includes Welaka: A Last Great Place, a film highlighting fly fishing on Florida’s own St. Johns River.
Following the screening, we’ll be joined by fly fishing guide Jon Cave, director Ian Sasso, and producer Charlie Levine, Editor of Anglers Journal, for a special discussion about the making of the film and the unique fishery it showcases.
MidCoast Fly Fishers is proud to partner with the Marine Discovery Center for this event, with proceeds from the raffle benefiting local conservation efforts. Jon Cave has generously donated a signed limited-edition print of his artwork for the fundraiser, and we’re currently seeking additional raffle prizes from local businesses and supporters.
Whether you’re an experienced fly angler or simply curious about the sport, this promises to be a fun evening celebrating fly fishing, conservation, and our local waters. We hope you’ll join us!
