Monthly Meeting
On the 2nd Monday of the month, we meet to discuss fly fishing topics. Member can provide fishing reports and we invite speakers to discuss fly fishing for particular species, the environment in Florida and how it relates to fishing, the conditions in the Mosquito Lagoon, and opportunities to volunteer for lagoon cleanups.

Monthly Fly Tying
On the 3rd Monday of the month, we meet to tie a fly based on the season, and on input from members. This meeting is focused on both techniques and materials. Often materials can be sourced from craft stores and used to tie effective flies at a fraction of the cost of the materials in a fly shop or online.
If you are new to tying, not to worry, we provide all materials for the fly and have tools you can use to tie the fly that night.

Fly Casting Practice and Fly Casting Lessons
Before each regular meeting, and every Saturday morning, we conduct fly casting practice. Experienced members are on hand to teach beginners the fundamentals of fly casting.
Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced caster, there is something to enjoy at the fly casting practice. Aside from lessons and casting practice, It is another time to discuss what everyone is catching and using what techniques.
Weekly Casting Practice is Saturday 10am until noon.
Pre-Meeting Casting practice starts at 6pm
